2026 BSL Combine and Draft Results

 (Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Basketball Super League is thrilled to announce the results of the 2026 BSL Combine and Draft which took place this past weekend in Erie, Pennsylvania. The BSL is grateful for the efforts of the Lake Erie Jackals staff who hosted this event, as it would not have been possible without their coordination and commitment. 

The weekend started with a tremendous interview process, which let our teams have insight on the talent that was available to join the league. Both 2026 BSL Combine sessions showed the level of athleticism, work ethic and determination that these athletes would add to any of the five clubs of the Basketball Super League. The BSL is thankful for the showing of tenacity and compete from these athletes that ultimately made this process a massive success.   

The draft lottery was determined during the owners’ meeting on Friday, November 21st. Following the draft lottery, the draft order determined was:

 

1st overall: Montreal Toundra 

2nd overall: Lake Erie Jackals 

3rd overall: Sudbury Five 

4th overall: KW Titans 

5th overall: Windsor Express

 

Once Saturday’s Combine sessions concluded, the league’s five clubs were underway with the 2026 BSL Draft. These ten players have been drafted to the BSL, earning an invite to their respective teams’ training camp:

The Basketball Super League is excited to welcome this new wave of talent as our clubs prepare for the start of the season, which kicks off December 27th in Kitchener with a matchup between the KW Titans and the Windsor Express.
