(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Basketball Super League has named Windsor Express power forward Billy White the Player of the Week for February 9th – 15th after a dominant two-game weekend, helping the Express extend their win streak to four games.
Veteran power forward White put on an outstanding performance Wednesday night, in a high-scoring 132-120 victory over the Lake Erie Jackals. Dominating on both ends of the floor, White dropped 26 points on an efficient 58.8% shooting from the field. Being a constant physical presence, going 6-for-9 from the free throw line and recording four defensive rebounds.
On Sunday’s matchup against the Glass City Wranglers, White topped his previous performance with another dominant two-way game, recording his third double-double of the season. With 17 points while shooting an impressive 67% from the floor. His impact was felt everywhere on the court, recording 12 rebounds while adding five assists and a steal to round out a complete performance.
Billy White, in 10 games played this season, is averaging 19.5 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, and shooting 61.9% from the field goal.
