London Lightning Sets Basketball Super League Record with 160 Points in Dominant Win Over Tri-State Admirals

London, ON – January 18, 2025 – The London Lightning made history tonight by scoring a record-breaking 160 points in their resounding 160-115 victory against the Tri-State Admirals at Canada Life Place. This remarkable performance not only marked the highest point total in Basketball Super League history but also featured the most points scored in a single quarter, with the Lightning putting up 41 points in the second.
From the onset, the Lightning showcased their offensive power, leading the game from start to finish. They shot an impressive 68.3% from the field and 45.8% from three-point range, demonstrating their efficiency and depth. Five players scored in double figures, with Paul Parks leading the charge with 31 points, followed closely by Joel Kindred with 25 and Marcus Ottey with 27 off the bench.
The Tri-State Admirals, who are competing in The Basketball League (TBL), put forth a valiant effort, especially from Mark Blair and Christian Butler, who scored 21 and 17 points, respectively. However, the Admirals struggled to keep pace, particularly in the paint, where the Lightning dominated with 104 points compared to the Admirals’ 54.
