Pontiac Pharaohs Fall to London Lightning in Thrilling Matchup

London, ON – December 27, 2024– In a highly competitive game at Budweiser Gardens, the Pontiac Pharaohs faced off against the London Lightning, ultimately falling short with a final score of 121-107. This matchup showcased both teams’ tenacity, but the Lightning capitalized on their home court advantage, improving their record to 5-2, while the Pharaohs dropped to 2-6.
The first quarter set the tone for the game as the Lightning surged ahead with a strong start, leading 33-25. Despite a valiant effort from the Pharaohs, who demonstrated impressive shooting skills with a field goal percentage of 50.6%, they struggled with free throw shooting, converting only 57.7% of their attempts.
Khalil Gracey led the Pharaohs with a standout performance, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while James Towns added 22 points, contributing significantly to the team’s offensive efforts. Trent Temple also provided valuable support with 18 points and 6 rebounds.
On the other side, the Lightning showcased a balanced attack, with Billy White leading the way with 25 points.
