About the Basketball Super League (BSL)

The BSL was formed in 2023 following a close collaboration between The National Basketball League of Canada (“NBLC”) and The Basketball League (“TBL”). The new league, which is based on the EuroLeague or “Super Cup” model, aims to give professional basketball players another option to start and continue their careers on the court.

For its inaugural season, the league has signed a series of partnerships with other leaders in the space including Wooter for apparel, Sports Media Inc for marketing and PANDA Interactive for live streaming.

With a focus on community engagement and the advancement of the sport, the BSL is not just a league, but a celebration of basketball’s enduring power to connect and inspire. As we launch our inaugural season, we invite fans to join us in experiencing the exhilarating journey of the BSL, where every game is more than just a match—it’s a spectacle of athletic prowess and the spirit of teamwork.”
